The inverter charger switches from grid power to inverter battery power automatically! The solar panels keep a trickle charge on the battery and will recharge a battery at 50% depletion in <2 hours in full sun. This kit is designed for applications that need power for short periods of time. Also works as a stand by power option during outages.
