Built out of Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePo4) technology this is a battery built to last. With a lifespan of 3,000 – 5,000 charge cycles this battery will last up to 5 times longer than your typical SLA battery – providing exceptional value over time. Optimized for solar energy storage, Dakota Lithium batteries provide a greater energy transfer efficiency, with double the usable power of lead acid or AGM battery banks. This means that 15 kWh of Dakota Lithium batteries provides the equivalent performance to 30 kWh of lead acid batteries — enough power for most off-grid homes and small businesses. What size battery bank Do I need?
- 400Ah, 5 kWh system is optimal for mid sized RVs with air conditioning, or large RVs without AC, School bus builds, boats, tiny home, and cabins. For smaller RVs and boats, or camper vans we recommend this system.
- 800Ah, 10 kWh system is optimal for larger boats, off shore sailing, small homes, and large RVs with air conditioning systems.

Each battery is 12v 200Ah 2400Wh. LiFePO4 chemistry has a flat voltage curve, meaning this battery has twice as much usable capacity as a lead acid (SLA, AGM) battery with the same rating.
Add a series wiring kit to connect 2 or more batteries in series to make 24V or 4 or more batteries to make a 48V system.

Free 10 Amp (A) charger included. Dakota Lithium batteries like to be charged at 14.4 volts, higher than AGM or lead acid. Lead acid chargers will work, but will only charge the battery to 80% of capacity. Upgrade to a 20 Amp charger for 2X faster charge time.
Connection kit for wiring 4 batteries in parallel is included. Wiring kit includes fuses for redundant safety protection.
Dakota Lithium iron phosphate batteries like to be charged at 14.4 volts, commonly knows as the “lithium setting” on solar charge controllers. We highly recommend a lithium compatible solar charge controller to increase the performance of your battery bank. Either choose the lithium setting on your existing controller, or upgrade to a lithium compatible version.
